With the 80L hybrid water heater from Fothermo, you can produce your hot water using sustainable and cost-effective solar power. The solar panels can be connected in just a few seconds via plug and play and provide you with a reliable hot water supply. In contrast to the other 80-liter Fothermo off-grid boiler, the hybrid version can be reheated via the 230V power grid. Due to the low voltage level of less than 50V, no electrician is required for installation.

The boilers work with an output of up to 1500W. If desired, there is also the option of reheating via the existing heating system. Installation is straightforward, similar to conventional storage cylinders. A vacuum valve and non-return valve are also included to ensure maximum safety.

The Fothermo Hybrid Boiler offers an intelligent solution in the event that the solar energy is not sufficient to heat the water for a longer period of time. a minimum temperature, e.g. 35°C, can be set via the 230 V backup heater with an adjustable rotary control. If the water temperature falls below this value, the boiler is automatically reheated with 1,500 W electricity from the mains until the minimum temperature is reached again. The boiler has a maximum water temperature of 65°C and can provide around 72 liters of 34°C hot water for showers (with a 30-liter boiler) or 180 liters for the 80-liter boiler when fully heated.

The innovative MPP tracker increases the yield of your photovoltaic system by up to 50% by always ensuring the optimum operating point of the connected PV modules.
