Marlin Grip Antiskid Deck Coating 5Lt Ivory

Marlin Grip is an ideal antiskid deck coating for boat decks.
It is applied very easily with the special roller supplied or with any medium-coarse-grained sponge roller (or roller for burnt effect) to obtain a uniform roughness and an excellent anti-slip effect.
The degree of roughness can be easily customized according to the quantity applied, the pressure exerted on the roller and the number of passes made with the roller on the paint. In this way it is possible to obtain a very fine and elegant effect or a very pronounced and aggressive roughness suitable for racing boats. The average yield is 2 mq/l.
Thanks to its unique composition and blend of resins, Marlin Grip has great elasticity but at the same time excellent resistance to foot traffic, atmospheric agents, water and UV rays. This guarantees a long life.
Moreover, thanks to the special additives, it provides a soft and velvety surface under the foot, does not retain dirt and is very easy to wash.

Instructions for Use:
1. Surface preparation.
1.1 Thoroughly wash and degrease all surfaces.
1.2 Dull all surfaces with medium abrasive paper (No. 180-220) or with abrasive felt pad.
2. Application.
2.1 Pour an adequate quantity of product (yield about 2-3 mq/l) and spread it with a brush or spatula. The quantity of product to be used varies according to the desired roughness, the greater the quantity corresponds to the greater roughness.
2.2 Pass the special roller (or a medium-large grain sponge roller) over the spread product. A pressure corresponds to greater roughness and anti-slip effect. A lower pressure and/or more roller passes correspond to a lower roughness.
