Veneziani WOOD VB-MATT AQUA 7W6.324 Two-Component Water-Based Matt Varnish

Two-component water-based polyurethane varnish that is transparent, with a satin finish and non-yellowing. Excellent expansion and abrasion resistance, ready to use and easy to apply. Offering high resistance to marine environments, it is particularly suitable for the treatment of bulkheads, furniture and all internal wooden surfaces. Not suitable for surfaces that are continuously immersed. Also excellent for wooden flooring and decking.
Application: brush, roller or spray.

SURFACE PREPARATION
New or renewed wood: The humidity of the wood must not exceed 18%, sand the surface thoroughly with paper n. P120 - P180. Before proceeding with the application of the products provided, blow with clean and dry air to remove any residual sanding and dirt.
Prime with a coat of S-PROTECT AQUA then apply the first coats of VB-SHINE AQUA diluted at 15 - 20%. proceed with the following coats (3 - 5 coats) as it is.
Already painted wood: sand to eliminate traces of paint during stripping or to level the surface; apply 2 - 4 coats of VB-SHINE AQUA as it is.
N.B. Between coats, sand with fine Scotch Brite (gray).

CONDITIONS DURING APPLICATION
In order to avoid the formation of condensation, the temperature of the surface should be at least 3 °C above dew point. During the application and curing the min. ambient temperature must not be lower than 15 °C or higher than 30 °C; the min support temperature must not be lower than 10°C, because the crosslinking is significantly slowed at temperatures below.
Application is not advisable when relative humidity exceeds 75%. The term-hygrometric survey should be carried out near the surface to be coated. Make sure there is enough ventilation when the application takes place in closed areas.

Storage
It is recommended to avoid exposure to air and extreme temperatures. Store the product in a cool place and protect it from frost. To maximize the shelf life in the can, it is good to check that the container is well closed during the storage and the temperature is between 5 °C and
35 °C. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
