The Italwinch OBI 500 anchor windlass is a compact, reliable model designed for ease of use and long life even in challenging marine conditions. It is a horizontal-axis windlass made of anodized anticorodal aluminum, a material that ensures corrosion resistance and lightweight, making it particularly suitable for small and medium-sized vessels.

This version is supplied without a drum, with a 500W – 12V electric motor that offers the perfect balance between consumption and efficiency. Average consumption is approximately 60A, while pulling performance reaches a maximum instantaneous value of 630 kg, with a continuous working load of 90 kg. Thanks to its light weight of just 8.2 kg, installation is simple and does not significantly affect weight distribution on board.

The OBI 500 model is equipped with a gypsy for a 6 mm chain; depending on the configuration, a version designed for an 8 mm chain is also available, offering greater versatility and adaptability to the boater's diverse needs. It also features a line tensioner system, which keeps the line always properly tensioned, improving anchoring management and increasing safety during maneuvers.

The OBI line is designed for boats up to 9 meters in length, with a choice of different motorizations based on the type of use and weight of the vessel.
