Boero Altura UV Mat Satin Varnish, 0,75Lt.

One-component polyurethane varnish with special UV additives. Due to its very subtle exterior appearance, it is widely used on all types of high quality wood used for the interiors of the boats.

Conventional: Pressure: 3,5 bar Nozzle diameter: 1,2 – 1,4 mm

SURFACE PREPARATION
New or renovated wood: wood must be perfectly dry and free from any trace of dirt, grease, dust and previous varnishes. Apply a first coat of ALTURA UV MAT thinned at 10 - 15%; proceed with subsequent coats  (3 - 5 ) without dilution.

Painted wood: sand to eliminate traces of previous varnishes. Apply one coat of ALTURA UV MAT thinned at 5%, and proceed with subsequent coats ( 2 - 4 ) without dilution. N.B. Sand between the layers.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
To avoid the formation of condensation, the temperature of the surface should be at least 3 °C above dew point. During the application and curing the min. ambient temperature should be 15 °C, or higher than 30° C; substrate temperature must not be lower than 10° C since curing is reduced at lower temperatures. Application is not advisable when relative humidity exceeds 80%. The thermo-hygrometric survey should be carried out near the surface to be coated. It is important to be sure there is sufficient ventilation when the application takes place in closed areas.

SAFETY RULES
In order to protect personal health it is advisable to comply with the EU DPR 303 and 547 regulations. Avoid, for example any contact of the product with the skin and eyes. Use in well ventilated areas,in enclosed areas use aspirators, fans and air ventilators. Wear masks, goggles, gloves while applying the product.

NOTE
Ensure that the product does not come in contact with water, chemical products or undergoes mechanical stress before the curing is complete. The wet film thickness refers to an undiluted product. In case of dilution, this value increases.
