Undercoat epoxy filler for use in two-component cycles of topsides. Excellent compact film thanks to excellent flow; easy to sand and provides a perfect surface finish.

Note: The product is provided in two tins to be mixed entirely and carefully before usage. The eventual dilution must be done after mixing the two components. The physical data of two-component products refer to the components after they have been mixed together

SURFACE PREPARATION
Wash with high pressure fresh water to remove every trace of oil and grease. All surfaces should be clean, dry and without contaminations. Sand with paper 180 grit, vacuum to remove all residue of sanding and any dust or dirt. Subsequently blow with clean dry air.
Fiberglass: On new surfaces degrease with SIRIO before sanding with paper 240/320 grit, vacuum to remove sanding residue and any dust or dirt. Subsequently blow with clean dry air.

CONDITIONS DURING APPLICATION
To avoid the formation of condensation, the temperature of the surface should be at least 3° above dew point. During the application and curing, the min. room temperature must not be lower than 10°C or higher than 30° C; substrate temperature must not be lower than 5° C, since curing is remarkably reduced at lower temperatures. Application is not advisable when relative humidity exceeds 80%. The thermo-hygrometric survey should be carried out near the surface to be coated. Make sure there is enough ventilation when the application takes place in closed areas.

SAFETY RULES
In order to protect personal health it is advisable to comply with the EU DPR 303 and 547 regulations. Avoid, for example any contact of the product with the skin and eyes. Use in well ventilated areas, in enclosed areas use aspirators, fans and air ventilators. Wear masks, goggles, gloves while applying the product.

NOTE
The applied product must not come in contact with water, chemical products or submitted to mechanical stress before the curing is completed. The wet film thickness refers to an undiluted product. In case of dilution, this value increases.
