Self-polishing antifouling containing a combination of copper compounds and biocides. After about a week in the final colour-changing immersion. For its self-cleaning properties the product retains its effectiveness throughout the service period.

HEMPEL's MILLE NCT is a self-polishing antifouling containing a combination of copper compounds and biocides. For its self-cleaning properties the product retains its effectiveness throughout the service period. However the colour of the antifouling, one week after immersion in water, can take on a green copper gradient.

RECOMMENDED USE:
Antifouling paint for boats in fiberglass, wood, plywood and ferrocement. Not suitable for aluminium and light alloys. Risk of corrosion in case of direct contact. Suitable for temperate or cold water.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Previous: antifouling
Remove oil, grease, etc with HEMPEL's YACHT CLEANER 67601, followed by high pressure washing with fresh water. The surface must be completely dry before coating. The application, or not, of a coat of sealant depends on the type and condition of existing antifouling.

CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION:
The surface must be completely dry and clean. Apply only in dry weather. The surface temperature must be above dew point to prevent condensation.
The temperature of the paint should be above 15°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight. In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

PREVIOUS COATS:
HEMPEL's YACHT 26030 PRIMER or HEMPEL's LIGHT 45551 PRIMER or as per specification.
SUBSEQUENT COAT: No

NOTES:
The antifouling paint contains pigments with high specific weight and must be mixed thoroughly prior to use. Dilute at a minimum for proper formation of the recommended paint film thickness.

Recommended number of coats:
Airless spray application: 2-3 coats with a total thickness of 120 microns
Air spraying, brush, roller or pad: 3-5 coats
For boats that exceed 15 knots, apply an additional coat.
Launching should take place after at least 24 hours after application of the last coat. HEMPEL's MANY NTC can stay ashore up to 3 months after painting. If you apply an additional coat of HEMPEL's MANY NTC, after prolonged exposure to atmospheric agents, carefully clean the surface with high-pressure wash.
