Two-component epoxy undercoat with barrier effect, which can be applied to any kind of substrate (wood, steel, aluminium and GRP). This coating may be used both as barrier coat and as undercoat for enamels. Can be recoated, after sanding, with two-pack enamel. Can be painted over with two-component products after proper sanding.

SURFACE PREPARATION
For areas already treated it is important to proceed with removal of all old flaking paint.

- New Gelcoat: degrease with Detersil, rinse and sand the surface with 220-240 grit sandpaper.

- New wood: relative humidity of the substrate must be less than 18%. Sand with 80-120 grit sandpaper and remove residues before applying a well-diluted first coat of primer or of the same Epoway diluted by 25%;

- New steel: Sandblasting SA 2½ is recommended or ST3 disc sanding and priming with 1 or 2 coats of ADHERPOX;

- New light alloy: degrease with Detersil and disk sanding with coarse sandpaper and prime with 1 or 2 coats of ADHERPOX.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Stir the base well and slowly pour in the hardener. The two components must be stirred until a complete even. It is recommended to dilute with Thinner 6610 up to a maximum of 20% by volume for spray application.
24 hours after application it will be necessary to sand the surface with 320-400 grit sandpaper in order to obtain a perfectly smooth surface before proceeding with the application of finishes, such as Gel Gloss Pro or Commander.
