Veneziani WOOD V-MATT AQUA 7W6.314 Single-component water-based matt varnish

Single-component water-based varnish, transparent satin finish. Designed for the decoration and protection of exposed woodwork that has to face aggressive environments, such as marine environments. Easy to apply and quick to dry, with a satin/velvety appearance. Good workability, expansion, elasticity, resistance to blocking and the elements. Being odourless means it is also great for indoors.
Application: brush or roller.

SURFACE PREPARATION
New or renewed wood: The substrate must be dry, the humidity of the wood must not exceed 18%. All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free from contaminants. Apply on the recommended primers, sand with P220-P320 paper. Before proceeding with the application of the products provided, blow with clean and dry air to remove any residual sanding and dirt. Apply the first coats of V-MATT AQUA diluted 10 - 15%. Proceed with the following coats (3 - 5 coats) as it is.
Already painted wood: sand to eliminate traces of paint during stripping or to level the surface; apply the first coats of V-MATT AQUA diluted at 5%, proceed with the subsequent coats (2 - 4 coats) as it is.
N.B. Between coats, sand with fine Scotch Brite (gray).

CONDITIONS DURING APPLICATION
In order to avoid the formation of condensation, the temperature of the surface should be at least 3 °C above dew point. During the application and curing the min. ambient temperature must not be lower than 15 °C or higher than 30 °C; the min support temperature must not be lower than 10°C, because the crosslinking is significantly slowed at temperatures below.
Application is not advisable when relative humidity exceeds 80%. The term-hygrometric survey should be carried out near the surface to be coated. Make sure there is enough ventilation when the application takes place in closed areas.

Storage
It is recommended to avoid exposure to air and extreme temperatures. To maximize the shelf life in the can, it is good to check that the container is well closed during the storage and the temperature is between 10 °C and 35 °C. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
