Two-component epoxy undercoat with barrier effect, which can be applied to any kind of substrate (wood, steel, aluminium and GRP). This coating may be used both as barrier coat and as undercoat for enamels. Can be recoated, after sanding, with two-component enamels.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Existing coatings to be sanded, taking care to remove all parts with poor adhesion.

- New gelcoat: degreasing with Detersil, washing down with fresh water and sanding with 220-240 grit paper.
- New wood: The content of humidity must be below 18%. Sanding with 80-120 grit paper, removal of dust and sealing with one coat of Epoway diluted with 25% of thinner.
- New steel: grit-blasting to Sa 2,5 or disc-sanding to St 3. Apply 1-2 coats of Adherpox to the bare metal.
- New light alloy: Degreasing with Detersil and disc-sanding. Apply 1-2 coats of Adherpox to the bare metal.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Stir the hardener and the base separately and then mix them until completely even.
For conventional spray application add up to 20% by volume of thinner 6610.
After 24 hours drying time sand with 320-400 grit paper in order to produce a perfectly smooth surface before recoating with a suitable finish, such as Gel Gloss Pro or Commander.
